Easy Vegan Apple Oatmeal

- 1 ½ cups oats old fashion
- 1 apple chopped small and skin removed
- 2 cups vegan milk
- 2 cups water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup brown sugar*
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Take a medium to a small saucepan and add your oats, vegan milk, water, salt, apple, and cinnamon; stir this all together.
Turn the stove to medium-high until it starts to boil a bit, stirring to make sure it doesn't stick. Turn the heat down to medium-low and stir periodically until cooked, about 20- 25 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in your sugar and vanilla extract; stir until combined. Let this cool, and then serve when it's reached the desired temperature.
*You can adjust this as you feel fits or use your favorite type of sugar.
