Easy Vegan Apple Oatmeal

This tasty vegan apple cinnamon oatmeal is creamy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups oats old fashion
  • 1 apple chopped small and skin removed
  • 2 cups vegan milk
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup brown sugar*
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Take a medium to a small saucepan and add your oats, vegan milk, water, salt, apple, and cinnamon; stir this all together.
  • Turn the stove to medium-high until it starts to boil a bit, stirring to make sure it doesn't stick. Turn the heat down to medium-low and stir periodically until cooked, about 20- 25 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in your sugar and vanilla extract; stir until combined. Let this cool, and then serve when it's reached the desired temperature.

*You can adjust this as you feel fits or use your favorite type of sugar.
