- ⅔ cup all purpose flour
- ⅓ cup cornmeal
- ⅓ cup white sugar
- 1 TB baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegan sour cream
- ½ cup vegan butter melted
- 1 can creamed corn
- 1 can whole kernel corn drained
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Take an 8x8 baking dish and lightly grease, set aside.
Take a large bowl and combine the dry ingredients and stir. Now add your wet ingredients and any mix-ins you want and stir until combined and no flour streaks remain.
Pour this mixture into the prepared 8x8 pan and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
If you want to use JIffy Cornbread Mix-
If you would rather use the store-bought version then omit the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. And just add the box mixed with the rest of the ingredients and cook accordingly.
