
In the summer with all the fresh produce floating around it's fun to make your own easy tasty fresh salsa. This is delicious to top your tacos or dip your chips into.
I am a big fan of nonspicy salsa, spicy is just not my thing. So if spicy salsa is your thing, then you better add some spice to this mild salsa.
If your kids are brave then this is more a kid version salsa.
My 7-year-old, it feels weird to say 7 years old! He wouldn't touch this. It has way too many "icky things". But my 9-year-old will totally salsa and chips this up!
This salsa does require a lot of chopping. You can stick it in a food processor, but it gets a lot more watery which I don't love. So, I prefer the chopping method.
I like that this salsa adds in black beans and avocado. I mean what more could you want.
Avocado makes just about everything taste better in my opinion.
I wanted to add some fresh mango into this salsa but my husband is not a fan of sweet salsas. Maybe next time I will sneak some in.

What do you need for this easy tasty fresh salsa?
- tomatoes
- corn
- cilantro
- black beans
- red onion
- jalapeno
- lime
- garlic
- salt
- vinegar
- cumin
- avocado
How do you make it?
Combine all the ingredients except the avocado.
Stir them together and place them covered in the fridge.
When you're ready add the avocado and serve with chips or on top of tacos.


Fresh Salsa
Ingredients
- 3 medium tomatoes chopped small
- 1 can corn
- ¼ cilantro
- 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
- ¼ red onion
- 1 jalapeno seeded and cut small
- 3 TB lime
- 2 garlic minced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ TB vinegar
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 ripe avocado chopped
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients except the avocado. Stir them together and place them covered in the fridge. When you're ready add the avocado and serve with chips or on top of tacos.
